Karen Downey, IDS associate is a member of The Interior Design Society 
The Interior Design Society is a national professional organization for designers
who specialize in residential interiors.
Karen has also achieved Certification as a Dewey Certified Color Consultant.
Custom Interiors established in Rhode Island and moved to Vero Beach in 1983.
During this time was responsible for a number of projects including space planning
and specification of furnishings for residential, commercial and luxury yachts.
In addition to traditional design services, Karen specializes in problem solving.
In residential interiorscommercial and yacht interiors services include color selections,
window treatments, bedding, upholstery, accessories, furniture and space planning.
Other services are project management or a liason between builder/contractor
and the homeowner.
